- Discuss issues of current understandings, perspectives and definitions of terms such as “inclusion”, “Special Educational Needs”, “disability” and “access”.
- Cover current key policies pertaining to special educational needs and inclusion in the UK.
- Enhance student’s knowledge and understanding in the area of collaborative planning, leadership, decision making and resource management in relation to current Inclusive and Special Education policy and provision for pupils with SEND.
